July Currently, and Some Treats for my Readers

It's July already! A new month means it's time for Currently!

A Heat Wave has hit New Hampshire. I guess it's good for me, since I'll be heading to Vegas in a week, and it's even hotter there! I do have AC, but it doesn't work all that great, so I sit by my fan while working on my laptop.

I have been enjoying my summer vacation! I'm catching up on sleep, my blood pressure is lowering and my pulse is slowing down. Life is good. (Although, I do miss the little guys!)

I have tons of projects going on, but I'm enjoying this relaxed state, so I'm not getting as much done so far as I'd hoped, but we're getting there! Of course, getting the AC fixed would require money.

There were several years, back in my youth, where I would go to watch the live Boston Pops Concert to celebrate the 4th of July. This would mean getting up extremely early, rushing to find a spot, and hanging out all day to save our spot. There was even one year where we camped out on the Boston Esplanade. (They don't allow that anymore!) It's always a great concert, and is a great celebration of our country. Nowadays, I just watch the concert on TV. It's not quite as exciting as being there, but parking is a whole lot cheaper!

Be sure to check out Farley at Oh 'Boy 4th Grade for more "Currently" responses!

I've been starting to get some work ready for fall.  One completed project: updating my "Teacher Calendar"!  I spent a few days researching "unusual holidays" and putting them into this calendar form, simply because I'm always looking for an excuse to have fun!  For example, did you know that July 1st is not only Canada Day, but it's also National Postal Worker Day! If you know a postal worker, or anyone from Canada, be sure to give them some appreciation!

This product will be half off for the rest of the week! If you're interested, click the image below or click HERE.

Happy July!
