Five Accomplishments

Wow, it's been one crazy week!  We finally went back to school after 2 snow days, and whoosh!  Five days later, I'm ready for another vacation!

But a few good things went on this week!  Here are some:

1. I had a guest blog posted on Corkboard Connections this week!  Click the image or click HERE to see my ideas on using gestures to enhance learning!

2. My blog post on Martin Luther King Jr. Teaching Resources was featured on the Teachers Pay Teachers blog!  Click HERE to see the TpT blog post.  Click HERE to see my post that was mentioned there! Click the image below to see my Just or Unjust Freebie featuring Martin Luther King's fight for Justice!

This same blog post of MLK resources was also featured on Some of the Best Things in Life Are Mistakes. This is another great collection of MLK resources!

 3.  We had some fun celebrating 2014.  We made these bracelets to practice our addition facts for 14!

Aren't these cute?  The kids loved them!
Here's 7+7!

Here's 5+9!

And here is 4+10!

4.  We also wrote thank you notes for all the wonderful gifts that they gave each other at our class holiday party in December!

If you'd like to download these freebie Thank You cards, just click the image below!

5.  I had so much fun last week with my 12 Days of Christmas Treats, I've decided to offer more treats.  This week I've got some sports games I'm offering for $1.00 all week!  (Through next Friday Jan 17th) Check out these items by clicking the images:

I realize it's Saturday, but I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!

  1. Love the number bracelets! I have made them for numbers up to 10 but am thinking I should go farther for my first graders who are ready and a bunch of second graders I have who need more practice.
