Are You Curious About the Daily 5?

Have you heard of the Daily 5?  I've chatted with many teachers who rave about this method of organizing a literacy block where the children take responsibility for their reading skills.

Well, you're in luck!  There is a group of teacher bloggers who are organizing a book study starting Wednesday June 13th!  If you click the picture of the book, you can order from Amazon and get it in time to join in the book study!

This book study is for grades 1 - 3.  Look to Seusstastic Classroom Inspirations for more information on this Book Study

If you're a Kindergarten teacher, they're having their own Book Study on the Daily 5.  Stop by Live, Love, Laugh Everyday in Kindergarten for more information on the Kindergarten Daily 5 Book Study.

Upper elementary folks can find a similar book study going on over at We Read, We Blog, We Teach.  Be sure to check that one out, too!

In all three of these book studies, you'll find teachers who have already used these ideas in their classroom, and have developed organizational ideas and materials they are willing to share.

Plus, this is an opportunity to communicate with some outstanding teacher bloggers and have some awesome professional conversations.

I still have 6 more days, but I'm already getting excited about organizing my class for next year.  I guess I'm just addicted to teaching!
