Paying it forward is something that I love to do. One of my personal resolutions is to do it more often. Not just in the blogging world, but in other parts of my life as well. There is such joy to be had by showing kindness to others. Here are some great things I've found in the last few days that have impressed me:
Erin Wing's Friendship Writing Center This 50 page package is perfect for Valentine's Day! Some great ideas for using writing skills and procedures to build and promote friendships.
Laura Candler's Daily Math Puzzlers What a great way to bring daily problem solving into your classroom! This ebook is filled with very clear steps for introducing and practicing problem solving for 10 - 15 minutes a day. Sooooooooo worth it!
Mary Amoson If You Give a Cat a Cupcake materials - Mary has several links to adorable activities for little ones to use with the book. Also, check out Mary's Giveaway.
Shelley Gray has a New Year's Freebie - my favorite kind, the ones that make the kids think!
Rachel from Sub Hub has a great ebook - "Must Own Books" These are recommended by teachers who know what works!
Rachel Lynette has a New Year's Reflection freebie - I'll be using this the first week back!
I could go on forever... but the last thing to share is the book I'll be reading to the children tomorrow:
I thought this was a great way to get the kids to think about how to improve themselves... by filling the buckets of others! That's something I enjoy doing, too!

WoW - thanks for being such a great SCOUT! I cannot wait to dig into Erin's friendship writing packet. And who can go wrong with Carol's Bucket Filler book? Happy 2012,
