Teaching in Room 6 is having a linky party... and we're sharing our "Go-to" Book!
Wow, this isn't easy! I just can't decide on one, but I can narrow it down to 2 books!
First, Eric Jensen's Teaching With the Brain in Mind has been an inspiration to me! If you've read many of my blog posts, you know I'm passionate about the brain. This book is one I pick up often that helps me remember to focus on the kids and their learning.
My other Go-to book is one I mentioned on a recent blog post on Writer's Workshop. Talking, Drawing, Writing, Lessons for our Youngest Writers by Martha Horn and Mary Ellen Giacobbe has been my bible for Writer's Workshop for years now. It's one of my favorite times of the day, and this is one of the best guides I've found!
Be sure to visit Teaching in Room 6 see some great Go-to books...and link up with your own!

Thank you so much for linking up! Both of those books look great! I haven't read either one, so I am off to read some excerpts from them online :)

Hmmm. I've never heard of Talking, Writing, Drawing. I'll have to pick it up because I, too, LOVE writer's workshop. I'm always looking for new ideas to incorporate. Thanks!
