Another Pay it Forward Friday

The more time I spend on the internet, the more incredible resources I find!  Here are some things I've discovered this week:

A Math Dictionary for Kids - You are going to love this, I certainly do!  That vocabulary is so important, and this makes it fun!  (There's that brain based learning - connecting with emotions!)

Free Power Point Presentations-  Yes, I did say free, and there are tons for every subject area, and every grade level.  I'm thinking this might go on my "favorites" bar at school! (Thanks to Charity from The Organized Classroom Blog for bringing my attention to these!)

Scholastic - Not only do they have great book deals for students, they have great articles, and lots of great timely links for teachers.  I visit all the time, and always come back with ideas!

Minds in Bloom - Every time I go to Rachel's site, I find more clever ideas that I can use in my classroom.  Don't forget to visit her store at Teachers Pay Teachers as well!  Enter her contest, too, I did!  (Did I mention her facebook page?)

Eric Jensen - Eric Jensen was one of my first inspirations as far as the "Brain Based Learning" goes. As you may see from most of my blogs, I'm hooked!  The recent studies in how the brain reacts in certain situations has given me confidence that most of my "educational instincts" are on track.  I've been to his workshops and read many of his books.  I subscribe to his newsletter, which brings me more ideas each week!

Finally, some You tube fun, in honor of Jen Rice, as well as all other teachers getting back to school!
